Last week I rewatched the Haunting Anthology and I'm obsessed !!!
I've watched the Haunting of Bly Manor before, but it was my first time watching the Haunting of Hill House. I usually don't get scared easily with movies and tv shows, but for some reason I'm always afraid of being scared lol. I also don't enjoy horror in general tbh, unless it contributes to the plot in some relevant way.
I think I liked the horror theme in both of theme because the director uses it as a way to show trauma and I think it's very interesting and the plot and characters are very strong. I would say I enjoyed Bly Manor a bit more, but honestly I think they're very good tv shows. I'm kinda sad that the director doesn't want to do more seasons because I think the concept was very strong and versatile and it could've been adapted into new stories. I also enjoyed a lot to see so many lesbian characters that are well built and developed.
Either way, I'll keep and eye out on the director's future projects. As for now, The Haunting Anthology goes 100% to my favourite shows list and I'm dying to buy the dvd.
I've been lately obsessed with Hozier, especially with his album "Unreal Unearth".
I've been a fan of Hozier's work since I was a teenager like the good lesbian I am (lol), but as the years passed I stopped listening to his music as much.
I'm really happy to reconnect with it this year, I think he's really talented, both as a singer and as a lyricist, which I recently discovered it's what I look forward the most when I listen to an artist: really deep and powerful lyricism.
I recommend all of his works, but I enjoy this album the most (his first album is almost tied with this one tho).
That's all, byeeee !!!

Mood: tired
This week was so stressful... Also I failed my driving test... Atleast it's over now T.T
